It is a two-way street: an opportunity to introduce yourself and express your needs, and a way for COAST to inform on what we offer.
We are looking forward to establish a rapport with you early in your postdoc phase and support you throughout your career!
COAST Postdoc Peer Group 2024
Explore various opportunities by connecting with peer postdocs to expand your network. Discover common ground and share experiences with like-minded individuals. Additionally, gain valuable tips on coping with stress through meaningful connections within the postdoc community. First group has been formed and will end in July 2024. We are now forming a new group, starting Mon, Sep 2. We will meet for 8 one-hour sessions, every other week.
Career Counseling in Hamburg
Postdocs have the opportunity to receive confidential, one-on-one career counseling sessions.
The 60-minute confidential session can help:
- Clarify career goals
- Explore options
- Identify strengths and challenges
- Implement plan for skills development
- Prepare for upcoming interviews
- Critique CV/Cover Letter
- Gain information on resources at DESY and beyond
Sessions can be held by video call, in-person or by phone call.
